About Lingspiration

If you have miraculously stumbled upon this blog, welcome!

Lingspiration is a personal blog about a British born Chinese Christian female who refuses to act her age and lives in her own little crazy bubble.  All of that in the suburbs of Melbourne!

It used to cover topics on her personal experiences with dating and teeth; but she got married in 2010 and it has evolved into a blog about her marriage, food and everything else along with starting a family.

Ling started blogging in 2004 in Xanga and then blogger.com.  After much consideration, she decided to gather all her blog posts, edit them and put them all into one.  It was a lengthy process, but it’s all worth it.  Read all her posts here.

Please be assured that no names have been revealed to protect the identity of people mentioned on this blog.  Everything that is written is true and not part of her imagination – no matter how strangely bizarre it sounds.

About The Blogger – Ling

Ling was born and bred in a Scottish city known as Glasgow.  She is the eldest of 7 children.  Her parents must have been at it like rabbits!!

After working for 5 years in the UK, she decided to follow her dreams as a writer and travel Australasia.  She has not written one word in the best-selling novel she has always wanted to write – instead she started a beauty blog and then a spin-off beauty blog too!

Since July 2009, she has spent time in Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea and Australia.  Australia is THE place to be because she met the love of her life and after 4 months, he proposed!!!

Ling Describing Herself

I would describe myself as shy-ish, cute-ish, funny-ish and extremely unique.  If someone is interested in my life, I will tell them everything.  Heck, even if they’re not interested, I will still bombard them with weird and wonderful facts about me.

Life has many ups and downs – it’s like a rollercoaster ride!  I am a terrible decision-maker.  Sometimes I make bad mistakes in life, but I remain positive and I know that everything happens for a reason.

As a Christian, I believe that God has a wonderful plan for me.  I just need to stay on the right path!

Dear Blog Reader

Thank you for taking time to read my blog.

For me, writing this blog has been therapeutic.  I love it when people enjoy my pieces of writing.  I try to keep it entertaining, plain and simple.

I hope you enjoy this blog as much as I have enjoyed writing it since 2004.

Blessings to you,

Ling
