Arachnaphobia is defined as an abnormal fear of spiders
Argh! I hate spiders! I was tidying up my room on Saturday night (yes, what a riveting weekend), and out of the corner of my eye, I saw something move.
It was a huge freakin’ spider! It was not the typical black eight-legged freak, but it was brown and it was one of the biggest beasts ever!
I was too scared to scream. It started to crawl near my slipper and before I could faint, I lifted up my right foot, encased in my cute pink slipper, and proceeded to squish the living daylights of the arachnid.
The corpse laid there for 10 seconds and I just stared at it blankly.
I was in disbelief, because I, Ling Tung, aged 20-something, killed a massive spider without squealing in fear! An achievement! Maybe I am growing up at last…
Afterwards, I removed the rotting, squashed up remains with a tissue – WITHOUT wearing any gloves.
I was so proud of myself…but then another 10 seconds lapsed and only then, did I go mental!!!
What have I done?? GROSS!!!!!!! EEEKS!!! ARGH!!!
I rushed off and took a shower to cleanse away the essence of the hairy creep. Never again will that be repeated! Killing a spider, not taking a shower!
