Back To Dentistry

Yeah, so I am going to suck it up because I have realised that I have failed to put my stamp in the big bad world of blogging for money. All the blood, sweat, tears and money I have spent working on these websites :- www.lingtung.com, www.thebestbeautyblog.com and www.ilovefoodporn.blogspot.com - have gone to pot! Okay, I did get some goodies – OPI nail polishes and a free dinner and lovely comments from readers all over the world – but I was thinking of fame, fortune and an offer to write a bestselling novel. Ach well, I can always dream.
I am still going to blog! But I know that it is not going to feed me! And that is why I have to go back to Dentistry. (It also helps that I am eligible to work in Australia now with my visa!)
So any interesting news about that?
Not really..except my old workplace hunted me down and I am going to do some locum (temporary) work for them. I start on Wednesday! And they have even offered to pay for my taxi rides! Now, blogging never offered me any of these incentives!!!
I am also keeping my fingers crossed for a chance to work in an orthodontic practice. What does that mean? It means a whole new world different to general dentistry…which I shall not bore you with today.
Has a similar thing happened in your life? You followed your dream but it didn’t work out…so you went back to your roots? Let me know. We can moan about it together!

I was told i need braces but i can’t afford $7k they want to charge, maybe we can work out a deal

@Lilpil, Just a temp job in Ringwood government clinic…
As for the braces…if I get the job, will let you know =)

I think I am following my dream with my current job, yes. However, these weather conditions really dampen my dreams though. Some can say it’s part and parcel of this job. It might be yes, but I think a better job would be not affected by any of these things. Any suggestions?

@Big G, That’s right – you followed your dreams! Woop woop! But yeah, the weather has been really unpredictable in UK – guess it has affected a lot of jobs though because I have read that some people can’t even get transport into work and some have been stuck on the motorway for 7-8 hours just to get home from work!! Crazy I tell you!
