Blocked Ear

My ears are currently blocked up because of the flu so I am having trouble with hearing. Yesterday at church, I misheard my name…
The pastor asked Boy A to read this bible verse…he said no, cos he hadn’t found the verse yet, so Boy A said, “Get Boy B to read it”…
But Boy B also said he couldn’t read it…(think they were being rather childish???)…
So the pastor said, “Okay, LING you read it!”…So I read it…And then when I finished, he said, “Oh…your voice has changed!”…The flu had changed my voice….
But it turns out the pastor had asked Boy C to read….but I had misheard!
Sis 4 said that it had sounded as if I was annoyed with the childish boys and took it upon myself to go ahead and read this bible verse……
AS IF!!!
Soooooo embarrassed…..!!!!
