Bridezilla

A wedding can bring out the best in a person but often brings out the worst. A bride, in particular, seems most susceptible to mutating into a beast no family member or friend can recognize because a magical ring was placed on the third finger of her left hand.
By definition, Bridezilla describes a subspecies of a bride-to-be who believes her wedding day is “her day”, that she is princess for the day, that the world owes her, and that her every desire and whim for the “perfect wedding” is to be catered to instantly and subserviently by friends, family, and vendors under threat of thermonuclear meltdown.
I have only been engaged for a fortnight, but I have dreamt of marrying my Prince Charming since I was a little girl.
I wonder if I will turn into Bridezilla…

you’ve got a huge family & lotsa ppl in church who can help if need be, so that should keep ur stress levels down
Apparently Psychology Finals start early/mid April so make sure ur wedding aint around that time coz i wanna go!!!

My 2nd eldest sister is to wed in 6 weeks time (2nd family member to be married off) and she is a NIGHTMARE! seriously. she is OBSESSED! all her conversations revolve around wedding stuff. the magazines are everywhere. and cake ideas. dress stuff. shoes. shopping… gaaaaah! i never knew this whole bride-zilla thing existed until my sister converted. didn’t even know there was such a term! thanks for that.
