DIY Baby Shower Banner

Yes, I know, I know!!  I’m talking about babies AGAIN!!  Argh!  I’m turning into one of those woman who talk about nothing but babies.  (In fact, I have just added a new category in this blog and it is Babies.  And before you start, nothing to announce so calm your beans!)

Anyway, one of my Sister-In-Law’s friend (who has now become my friend too) is having a baby in the next couple of weeks and she thought it would be nice to throw her a Baby Shower.  She asked me to help out and I agreed.  I went to the shops and found banners for people’s birthdays, anniversaries and hen parties but none for Baby Showers.  So I bought some coloured pens and made my own DIY Baby Shower banner.  I channeled my inner child within me and did some arts and craft and came up with this :-

What do you think?  Cute huh?  Didn’t know I had such artistic talent, right?  *beaming with pride*  (Okay, it’s not that fantastic…but when was the last time I drew a picture and coloured it in?  In primary school!  Yes, and we all know that was LONG time ago!)

The Husband just came home and I asked him what he thought of my DIY Baby Shower Banner.  He looked at it and said, “Does she like Hello Kitty?”  I replied, “Who doesn’t?”  And then he said, “Oh.  Is that a sample?”   Huh??!!!  For goodness sake!!!!  Where do I have to go to get a compliment?!!  Men – can’t live with them, can’t live without them!

Anyway, I hope the yummy mummy-to-be will love my DIY Baby Shower banner.  BTW, she knows she is having a baby girl and that’s why it’s a girly Baby Shower banner.
