Flat Feet
Posted by Ling on March 27, 2009
OHMYGOODNESS!!
I have ALWAYS insisted that my feet were not made for walking and now I have discovered that it is indeed TRUE!
I ONLY found out yesterday that I have FLAT FEET!!!
Flat feet is defined as an informal reference to a medical condition in which the arch of the foot collapses, with the entire sole of the foot coming into complete or near-complete contact with the ground
I have heard this term before but I never realised what it meant because I thought ALL feet are supposed to be flat.
So yesterday, my colleague was talking about her flat feet, and I asked her what it is.
She showed me her feet which were semi-flat, but then I said I had flatter feet. She looked at my feet and said it was very FLAT FEET!
I thought flattened feet were the norm till I saw my other colleague who had ‘normal’ feet with the arch, but I think it looks WEIRD cos it has a curve thing in it.
I did not realise feet had a natural arch!
Seriously, I think natural arched feet look WEIRD and my flattened soles look normal!!! Why have I never noticed this curved foot before???? My eyes are not used to curved feet – ugh, put them away!!
Anyway, symptoms of flat feet include pains and aches in legs after long walks…yep, that’s me for sure!!!
Thus, next time I moan about walking, there is a REASON for this!

A friend said she bought expensive in-soles that are formed for her feet, she had to make a mold or something at this place, heard they were expensive.
You need more foot massage, maybe? :p
