I Am Happier Without You

When you have a bad break-up, all you want to do is forget about it and move on. Sometimes, people don’t get this.
My girl friend, Miss Yo, is also friends with Ex-Boyfriend #2. We started dating in 1999 and had one of those relationships which was on, then off, then on, then off. (*roll my eyes*)
It was a messy and abusive relationship, which I do not want to dwell on. It was finally off last year! Yes, I was tired of all the suffering.
The following happened last week, via text messages.
Miss Yo : Can u tell me when Ex #2′s birthday is?
Me : NO!
Miss Yo : Why not? Don’t u know?
Me : I don’t know!
Miss Yo : Do u have his address?
Miss Yo knows fine well that I just want to move on with my life so I have no idea why she did that.
We spoke on the phone last night. These are not her EXACT words but translated from Chinese :-
“Why don’t you just say hi to him…someone has to make the first move…”
I felt really hurt. She is supposed to be MY friend. I introduced them. She also knows how destructive this relationship was, but she still does this to me??
So I will say this once and once only.
PLEASE NO-ONE TELL ME ANYTHING OR ASK ME ANYTHING ABOUT EX #2 EVER!! BECAUSE I HAVE NOTHING MORE TO DO WITH HIM NOW…I DON’T CARE IF HE DIES / GETS MARRIED / BECOMES GAY / GRADUATES / OR WHAT NOT!! IT DOESN’T CONCERN ME….
(And I don’t care if he is reading this right now!)
That guy put me through a lot of pain and suffering.
He said he is the best thing in my life! WRONG!
He said I have legs like tree trunks! WRONG!
When is it okay to beat up your girlfriend??? NEVER!
When is it okay to slap her in the face??? NEVER!
When is it okay to verbally abuse her??? NEVER!
When is it okay to ….(I don’t wanna say anymore…)
I was so depressed. I cut myself. I did stupid things. Sigh.
