I Know I Shouldn’t Compare But…

By Ling

When I was previously engaged, I was filled with mixed emotions.  Deep down, I felt alone…nothing was happening…and the ex-fiance knew that nothing was going to happen, but he was not man enough to express this.  His family did not mention anything about wedding planning.  Nobody seemed interested.

This time round…

Like, OMG!  Everyone wants to have a say in our forthcoming nuptials.  Mr Dorky has been very actively involved in wedding planning.  His parents want a say.  My parents are excited.  My sisters have been venue hunting for me.  Mr Dorky has spent hours on the phone talking about wedding plans today – so far, he has spoken to his brother, his sister-in-law, his mum, his dad, my brother, my sister…

Australia vs Scotland.
Register here vs register there.
June vs August.
Fly here, fly there.
Stay here, stay there.
Do this, do that.
Blah blah blah

Everyone has differing opinions on this wedding…

My friend Mrs Diva says that it is MY day and I should have MY say!  But it’s not…I am Ling Tung, the people pleaser!

Currently, I am lying in bed…nursing my illness…

I am not Bridezilla…I am Bride-ILLa!

Okay…he’s off the phone…and shaking his head…oh deario…update everyone later…

Will your wedding be at an amazing castle up in the highlands? or you haven’t decided yet?

It’s a long story but his parents wanted this and that for the wedding…and then when he said he had decided something else, his dad did not accept it…and so on…bleh! however, i believe we have reached a happy point now…woohoo!
