I’m Leaving My Husband…

Today, I am leaving Melbourne to go back to UK for my Gran’s funeral.  This will be 3rd time back to UK this year!  It is a 30 hour epic journey – 25 hours on the plane and 5 hours in the airports.  One way!!

Am I looking forward to it?  No.  The Husband isn’t coming along as he has commitments here.

Sigh.  For the last few days, since I found out the sad news, he has been a pillar of support.  He is there when I need a shoulder to cry on.  He is there to hide me away from people’s questions.  He is there at 3am in the morning when I feel sad.  He is there when I have to rant about something someone said.  But he won’t be with me for over 3 weeks!  Argh!

Anyway, I want to thank people once again for all their loving and supportive messages.  I shall keep you posted on how things go in UK.
