Interrogation Session
Posted by Ling on January 15, 2011
1. Why haven’t you blogged for a while?
I mentioned in my last post that I was going on holiday. I didn’t bring my laptop because there would be no point as I had no internet access and also, I had no time to blog because our 3-week holiday was jam-packed full of activities.
2. So what did you get up to on your holiday?
Well, we were in Malaysia visiting the Hubby’s family and friends. We spent a few days in Kuala Lumpur, then Ipoh, then Penang and then Sabah. We did a lot of eating, shopping and hanging out with family.
We also spent a few days in Singapore and I got to see some of my UK friends. We just ate and shopped there.
3. A while ago, you mentioned a Malaysia wedding…what happened to that?
Wellllllllllll…I thought we were going to do another big wedding thing which would have been extremely fun…but it was a close family and friends dinner in Ipoh. There were about 25 guests and we had an 8-course-banquet dinner.
4. What did you wear?
I wore this red dress. Yes, it was a casual dinner. I wore white flip flops!
5. Tell the truth! Did you enjoy your holiday with the in-laws?
To be honest, it was an interesting eye-opening holiday. Every family has its special interesting moments. I am just happy that I have been welcomed warmly into Hubby’s family.
6. Is that a diplomatic answer?
No further comment as I discovered that my Father-In-Law reads this blog – “Hi Dad!”
7. What? Your Father-In-Law reads your blog? Does that mean you will stop writing blogs in your unique ways?
Does that count as 3 questions? No? Okay. Yes, a little bird…*cough* Sister-In-Law *cough* told me. But no, I will still write blogs in my own unique way. So do not abandon me, dear readers. Stay with me!!!
8. Swiftly changing subject…have you got a permanent job yet?
Groan! Do we have to do job-related questions?? Anyway, before I left for my holidays, I got a job offer. However, before you congratulate me, I have not accepted the offer yet as the working days are Wednesday to Saturday and the working hours are 7.45am to 5pm. This surgery is in the city so it means a long commute for me. I shall decide next week when I see how much I get paid for this job.
9. What does your Hubby say about this?
He’s actually persuading me to look at other options. I don’t think he wants me to work Saturdays as it is our only free day together. But if the money is good, I might just take up the offer.
10. Since when did you start worrying about money?
Yes, hello?! I have spent all my hard-earning savings for the last couple of years living a jet-setting lifestyle. We are skint! And unfortunately, Hubby’s weekly pay cannot even pay our weekly rent!!!!!! Yes, it is that bad. But no worries, God will provide!
11. Skint? Don’t exaggerate! Did you buy loads in Malaysia and Singapore?
Sadly, I did not get to go shopping much. I only bought a few items here and there. Definitely not my usual shopping spree. I will post up these items soon on my Beauty Blog so keep your eyes open for that.
12. Do you have any New Year’s resolutions?
Yes, I do.
13. What are they?
#1 – Get fit and healthy
#2 – Grow closer to God with Bible reading and praying
#3 – Be positive and don’t let small insignificant matters or people bug me so much!
14. What insignificant matters or people are you referring to?
You should know by now that I am a sensitive soul and I get upset if people criticise or don’t like me because I am a people-pleaser. There were a number of things which kept me up at night…
Recently, I found out this particular so-called female friend deleted and blocked me from Facebook. I was shocked because I thought we had made amends (we have a somewhat history). It bothered me for a while…but then, I let go and decided that nothing she nor her family members can ever do anything to ever hurt me again. The end.
Yeah, so lots of insignificant matters can consume a lot of my time. I should focus on significant matters and live my life.
15. That was an extremely long answer! Just one last question before we end our Interrogation Session. When are you going to blog next?
I shall blog within the next 3 days.
Thank you for your time Ling.
Always a pleasure!

What a cool father-in-law! I don’t even think my mother reads my blog. Then again, 50% of my blogposts are just about the video games I’ve been playing, so I don’t think she nor I wants her to read that.
Cannot cover your weekly rent?? That is bad! Well yeah, God will provide.
I really hope you can find a solution which allows you to have a free day with your husband!

@Johan Ho, Is it cool for parents to read their children’s blogs??? Or maybe you should change blogging style and write about non-gaming stuff? Ahaaa!!
And thanks for the encouragement Johan!

@Ling Tung, I meant that it’s cool that parents are technologically adept enough to know about blogs and read them. Huhu well I do write about some non-gaming stuff too! O:)
