Money And Holidays

Does anyone remember that I said if I earned £**** per month, I would treat myself to a £1K bag?
HAHAHAHA….yes, so praise God, I earned my target, but NO WAY am I spending my hard-earned cash on a handbag!
Get real!!!
I am so AGAINST flashy designer clothes/shoes/handbags.
I am also AGAINST fake designer gear too.
I’m just not interested….I just like unique cheapo stuff…
Instead, I went on a mini shopping spree this week and bought 3 pairs of shoes, 2 pairs of earrings, 2 handbags, purse, sunglasses, top, dress, socks, trousers…I haven’t even spent £100 yet!!!
But then I went shopping with Miss VeeBee, the big spender today. We went to the designer shops and she bought a Gucci bag and Prada wallet and I fell in lust with this £195 miu miu purse – b ut I just couldn’t buy it.
I mean, seriously…do I REALLY need such an expensive purse??
And what if I bought it…then where would I go from there? I would need an expensive bag to match…and clothes…and stuff….
My biggest spending vice (on myself) used to be skincare – all the expensive lotions and potions to make my skin look lovely and youthful – but now, even today, I went and bought cheapy face moisturisers….£8 vs £40.
Why is it that the more money I earn, the less willing I am to part with it to purchase goods for myself??
I am happy to spend money on my family…you want it, I’ll get you it….
And there are so many bills to pay this month – big tax bill, indemnity bill, car insurance bill, some other tax bill thing. And my holiday money….and paying for my holiday…and my sister(s) – (one of them works now…so should I pay for hers??)
But anyway, who cares?
Today was my last day of work till August 4th. Dentist Ling is on HOLIDAY!!! Ooh yeah!
I have to do a last minute bikini diet as I am off to Greece then Norway.
I am happy…and guess what? I didn’t even think about GUY(S) today!!!!! hahahahahaha…
