This has been the first week of work. I can still remember how happy I was when I realised I had passed my exams. Student to dentist overnight!!
Maybe I was naive, but I didn’t realise that working is so stressful – huge responsibilities, quick decision-making, good clinical judgement, professionalism, communication skills, etc.
It’s a steep learning curve. It’ll be worth it when I get my first pay cheque. I’ve already mentally spent it!!
Hello, my name is Ling and I'm from Scotland but I now live in Melbourne after meeting the love of my life on Manly Beach in Sydney. We married 180 days after our initial meeting!
